Los Angeles and Boston based Hammond Organist and composer Keith Hollis Ladinsky puts together his first solo effort from behind the organ exploring his roots in the blues and his love of the Bayou and sounds and rhythms of New Orleans. Teaming up again with Barnstorm bandmate Sean “Buzzy” Mannion on drums and slide guitarist Cory Williams. Keith has assembled a brilliant CD full of soulful funk grooves, down-home blues and Bayou jams. The full and screaming sound of the Hammond B-3 pairs brilliantly with the electric slide guitar as Keith pays homage to one of his childhood heroes, slide guitar virtuoso Duane Allman, on the albums opening cut “One For Duane.” “High On The Bayou,” the albums title track is another excellent exploitation of the Hammond and slide guitar's ability to bring your ears and heart way down south. Keith changes gears and pays homage to his first love, the blues, on two tracks with Louisiana born vocalist Mickey Champion and New Orleans born blues guitar wizard Rodney “BR” Millon. The first being a slow rendition of Billie Holiday’s “Fine and Mellow” and Keith’s up tempo gospel/blues “Filet Millon.”
